Color Scheme Info The color scheme for the different parts is as follows: Kim = Pink Nicole = Spring Green Melissa = Medium Orchid Kim + Nicole = Gold Kim + Melissa = Crimson Melissa + Nicole = Sea Green All = Dark Turquoise Throughout Avenue Q's songs, there are many parts where they split into harmony, with the males singing one part and the females singing another. For the purposes of this recording, the part(s) you sing during these harmonies will be based on the character you are playing. For example, Kate Monster would be a female part, while Princeton would be a male part. Despite the character's gender, Gary Coleman is always played by a woman, and therefore takes the woman's part. These harmonies will be color-coded as follows: Female parts are in deep pink Male parts are in medium blue Enjoy!

Script Notes On the original cast recording of Avenue Q, a fair amount of dialogue is recorded in addition to the song itself. For our version, we will also be recording the same dialogue as on the original CD. As such, the lyrics will be written in a script-format. Some notes on this format: Character names are always written in capitals - PRINCETON Italics after a character's name indicate spoken dialogue Regular font after a character's name indicate lyrics (Brackets & italics) indicate action, such as a character entering the scene Example: (Enter BRIAN and KATE MONSTER)
KATE These lines are spoken
BRIAN These lines are sung
